Chaney High School Class of 1974 will celebrate its 45-year reunion Sept. 1 at the new Waypoint 4180 at Westford Commons. Advance Reservations are required. A weekend celebration will begin Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. The Chaney All 60s, 70s and 80s Reunion will take place at the Youngstown Saxon Club. Chaney Alumni Golf Outing is scheduled for Aug. 31. Liberty Leopard Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its inaugural Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. The nominations should include those alumni who: have been graduated from Liberty for at least 15 years; had been a student at the high school for at least two years; and have earned high level achievement in their profession, and/or extended themselves within their community with charitable endeavors. Nominations must be received by March 31. Nominations should be emailed to info@libertyleopardalumni.org. There is no official nomination form. Simply provide the nominee’s name (including maiden), year graduated, contact information (address, email and cell phone number) and a summary of how the nominee excels in the aforementioned criteria and is worthy of consideration. Mineral Ridge Alumni will host its annual Scholarship Banquet from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 10 at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre. Cost is $35 per person, and reservations must be made by July 31. For information, call Pam Sedlock Mayfield at 330-652-5784. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.

Struthers High School Class of 1962 is planning a 75th birthday party dinner for 6 p.m. Sept. 5 at Donavito’s in downtown Struthers. The class also will meet at The Elmton from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. followed by a football game Sept. 6, and a catered picnic is planned from 1 to 7 p.m. Sept. 7 at Mauthe Park, 156 Smithfield St. Anyone interested in helping plan is encouraged to attend the meetings, which take place the first Monday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at Donavito’s.
