AUGUST

Today — The 10th annual Panerathon at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. Registration opens at 8 a.m. The 10K run/walk starts at 10 a.m. The two-mile run/walk starts at 10:05 a.m. The Kids Run will begin at 11:30 a.m. Top five finishers in the 10k will receive cash prizes along with top three in the mile. The 40-and-over masters, 50-and -0over grandmasters and 60-and-over seniormasters will receive $75. Cost is $35 for 10k and $30 for two mile. Team cost $20 per individual. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

SEPTEMBER

7 — Second Annual Run for Recovery 5K Run or Walk in Austintown Township Park. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. inside Stacey Pavilion. Entry fee is $18 if registered before race day. Registration also can be completed on race day beginning at 9:30 a.m. for $20. Online registration is available at www.gopherarun.com and must be completed by Sept. 4. 22 — 49th Lordstown Apple Cider Festival 5K at 10 a.m. Plaques will be given to the top three finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions. New age classes, with medals given for the top three finishers for age groups starting at age 14 through 70 and above, both male and female. T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registrants. The advanced registration fee is $17. Advanced registrations should be postmarked prior to Sept. 5. Registration is available on the day of the race at a cost of $20. Check-in and registration is from 8:45-9:45 a.m. at Lordstown High School, 1824 Salt Springs Road SW in Lordstown. 28 — Pink Ribbon 5K and one mile run/walk in Warren. The race will begin at Trumbull Regional Medical Center Oncology Center. Check-in is 8 a.m., opening ceremony is at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 9:15 a.m. Entry fee is $15 and $20 on race day. Pre-race registration deadline Sept. 26.

28 — 5K Cross Country Classic at Columbiana High School at 8:45 a.m. Cost is $10. To enter, email Crystal Boggs at crystal.boggs@columbianaschools.org.
