ACTORS

“A Grand Night for Singing,” revue by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Directed by Pat Foltz, with musical direction by Matthew White, the Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, Youngstown, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Performances will be Oct. 18 through Oct. 27. Roles are available for at least three females and two males, all ages 40 and up; more actors may be cast based on the strength of auditions. “Evita,” by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Directed by Marlene Menaldi Strollo, with musical direction by Ed Phillips, The Hopewell Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, 6 p.m. Sept. 3 and 5. All roles are open. Auditionees should be prepared to sing a chorus from an upbeat Broadway song. Dress for stage movement. Accompaniment will be provided.
