SENIOR CITIZENS


Holy Family Seniors Group will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Church hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Lunch is $4 per person and will be served at noon followed by bingo and card games. Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Sept. 6 at Lowellville City Hall conference room. Brenda Perry, president, will preside. Lunch will be provided. Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet for its fall luncheon Sept. 11 at Drake’s Landing Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:45 followed by the meeting and program. Susan Harris will preside, and newly retired educators will be introduced. Cathy Hergenrother from the YMCA will speak about the “Silver Sneakers” program and other classes that are available through the YMCA. The community service collections will benefit YWCA Young Women With Bright Futures program. Grilled chicken salad or the buffet lunch, which includes Newport chicken, will be served.
