Michael Bolton, Texas Tenors part of Westminster College Celebrity Series

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.
The Westminster College Celebrity Series has announced its 2019-20 season, which includes Michael Bolton and “America’s Got Talent” favorites The Texas Tenors.
All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium on the Westminster campus (unless otherwise noted). Tickets are on sale now for all shows. To order, or for information, contact Georgene Gib at 724-946-7354 or go to westminster.edu/celebrity.
Tony and Grammy winner John Lloyd Young kicks off the season Sept. 21. As the original Frankie Valli in Broadway smash “Jersey Boys,” Young was hand-picked to reprise that role in the film adaptation.
Renowned acrobatic troupe and circus artists Cirque Mei, of China, will perform Oct. 9. Cirque Mei features 40 circus artists and acrobats who execute many of the most popular Chinese circus routines. Special pricing is available for school age children and young adults.
Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers will bring the sounds of legendary folk duo Simon & Garfunkel to the Orr stage Nov. 23.
The Texas Tenors return to Westminster on Dec. 17, for a Christmas show.
Grammy Award winner Michael Bolton brings his Symphony Series Tour to Westminster on April 29.
Known for classics such as “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” “When a Man Loves a Woman,” “Georgia On My Mind,” “Said I Loved You ... But I Lied” and many more, Bolton has won two Grammys and six American Music Awards.
Celebrity Series will also present a special “A Celebration of the Music of Neil Diamond with Matt Vee” show April 4.
Celebrity Series for Kids will present the professional musical production “Miss Nelson Has a Field Day” on May 21, with a school-only performance at 10:30 a.m. and a public performance at 6:30 p.m.
