The Oakland Center for the Arts and Kids First Theatre Initiative will have call back auditions for the area premiere of “Disney’s Frozen Jr.” Anyone who missed the original auditions may come to these auditions. Auditionees must be prepared to sing a Disney song or do a cold read. Callbacks and the show will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Fellowship Church, 4749 South Ave., Boardman. “Sister Act.” Top Hat Productions at the Fairview Arts & Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road, Youngstown, 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Needed are 10 female singers ages 16 to 70, five male singers ages 16 to 40, one female nonsinger age 35 to 50 and one male nonsinger age 25 to 35. The production will use a large ensemble cast. Auditionees should be prepared with a vocal selection, to read from the script, and dressed for stage movement.
“Evita,” by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Directed by Marlene Menaldi Strollo, with musical direction by Ed Phillips, The Hopewell Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, 6 p.m. Sept. 3 and 5. All roles are open. Auditionees should be prepared to sing a chorus from an upbeat Broadway song. Dress for stage movement. Accompaniment will be provided.
