LAGRANGE

Keystone pitcher Syndey Campbell outdueled Champion’s Sophie Howell in a game in the Prebis Memorial on Saturday. Campbell struck out 14 and didn’t walk a batter in her one-hit shutout. Howell allowed just two hits and fanned 12. Autumn Acord had a double for Keystone. The loss dropped the Golden Flashes to 14-2.

LAGRANGE

Allison Smith struck out 29 batters as the Golden Flashes (15-2) won a 14-inning marathon in the Prebis Memorial on Saturday. Smith allowed just four hits and one walk. Carli Swimpas and Abby White each had two hits and White and Sophie Howell each had a double. Howell’s double drove in two runs during Champion’s four-run rally in the top of the 14th. Jade Ramer had two hits for Anthony Wayne. Losing pitcher Jenna Hardy scattered 10 hits, walked six and struck out 22.
