WCMA unveils concert season

The Warren Civic Music Association’s 2019-20 season will begin with three tenors from New York and end with the Gatlin Brothers who hail from Texas.

The entertainment series, which will be entering its 79th season, was unveiled last week. All six shows take place at W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, and begin at 7 p.m. All seating is general admission.

Season tickets are $95 ($40 for youths) and are on sale now at warrencivicmusic.com or by phone at 330-399-4885. Single-show tickets go on sale at a later date.

Here is a look at the 2019-20 schedule:

The New York Tenors, Sept. 12: Daniel Rodriguez, Andy Cooney and Christopher Macchio combine their powerful voices in this show.

Four by Four, Oct. 22: This musical, humorous and fully choreographed stage show highlights the hits of the Beach Boys, the Beatles, the BeeGees and Motown.

Ted Vigil’s Musical Tribute to John Denver, Nov. 14: Vigil recreates a John Denver performance by faithfully reproducing the late artist’s voice and mannerisms, and he also looks like the “Rocky Mountain High” artist.

Christmas Wonderland, Dec. 4: This dazzling holiday extravaganza transports audiences to New York City with an array of singers, dancers, glittery costumes and special effects.

Divas3, March 26, 2020: This trio of female singers delivers the big hits of the divas of pop music, including Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher, Dolly Parton, ABBA and more.

Larry, Steve and Rudy – the Gatlin Brothers, April 28, 2020: The legendary trio, which has been together for 45 years, showcase their hits.
