10 — Ned Mervos Youngstown State Football Alumni Golf Outing at Youngstown Country Club. Registration at 10 a.m. Hot dogs served at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Dinner and cash bar at 6 p.m. A hole-in-one contest for a car and skill contests are planned. 14 — Tamer Win Golf and Country Club will offer its Women on Course Instructional Golf League beginning May 14. Session 1 runs Tuesdays from May 14 to June 18. Session 2 runs Wednesdays from May 15 to June 19. Session 3 runs Tuesdays from July 10 to August 14. Prepaid fee is $200 and includes weekly instructional clinics, greens fees and cart. 18 — Two-Person Scramble at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. Early registration fee (by May 8) is $60 per player or $120 per team. After May 8, the fees are $75 and $150. Cost includes entry fee, greens fees, cart, skins game, coffee and donuts and sleeve of Titleist ProV/x golf balls for each player. Golfers 65 and up will play the gold tees. 24 — The Thiel College Blue-Golf golf outing is set at Avalon at Buhl at 9 a.m. Cost is $400 for a foursome or $100 per individual. Lunch at the turn and a buffet dinner are included. Skill and team prizes will be awarded. Registration deadline is May 20. To register, contact the Thiel Athletic Department.

25 — The eighth annual Coman Boys Golf Outing to benefit the Cheryl Coman Memorial Fund for the boys’ secondary education. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Mahoning Country Club. Cost is $70 per player or $280 per team. After Wednesday, the fee per player increases to $75. Food, drinks, prizes and raffles will be available. 1 — Protestant Family Service 75th annual charity golf tournament at Mahoning Country Club Golf Course. Shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. with lunch served at noon.
