Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremlony (8 p.m., HBO): The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies are the inductees. The recorded three-hour broadcast of the ceremony (which took place March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn) boasts a star-studded array of guests and presenters, including Harry Styles, Janelle Monae, Don Henley, Brian May, David Byrne, Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Trent Reznor, Ian Hunter and Susanna Hoffs.

Kids kite festival at township park

AUSTINTOWN

The ninth annual Kids Shine for a Cure Kite Festival, presented by A Way With Words Foundation will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road. The event, which is free and open to the public, will include police, fire and ambulances on display, and a tent in which children can make projects to take home. There will also be a basket auction and a raffle, and food by BBQ Ted.

Live music by local artists will take place at the bandstand. Second Harvest Food Bank boxes will be set up to receive donations for local families.

Mount Union choir in free concert

ALLIANCE

The University of Mount Union Concert Choir, under the direction of Grant Cook, will give a free concert at 7:30 p.m. May 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Alliance.

The program will include concert works and arrangements of traditional American hymns, folk songs and spirituals.
