Miss Schiavone, Mr. Perry set autumn date

Dr. Anthony P. and Phyllis M. Schiavone of Howland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Maribeth Anne Schiavone, to Michael Wade Perry, both of Pittsburgh. The prospective groom’s parents are John W. and Roberta L. Perry of Uniontown, Pa.

The couple will be united in marriage at 3 p.m. Sept. 27 at St. Monica Church in Chippewa, Pa., and a reception will follow at The Gathering Place at Darlington Lake, Darlington, Pa. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-elect graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. She is a family nurse practitioner at Allegheny General Hospital, Center for Digestive Health in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Perry earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and completed two residencies to specialize in critical-care pharmacy. He is a clinical assistant professor of pharmacy practice at Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh.
