The Greenes celebrate 50 years together

YOUNGSTOWN

Truman Sr. and Katherine Greene of Youngstown recently celebrated their 50th anniversary during a trip to Orlando, Fla. The couple’s children are Truman Greene Jr. of Frisco, Texas; Loretta Harris of Youngstown; and Dontae Harris, also of Youngstown. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete their family.

Mr. Greene and the former Katherine Johnson were married April 19, 1969, in Youngstown.

Mrs. Greene retired from General Electric in Youngstown.

Her husband retired from Continental, also in Youngstown. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

The couple are members of Jehovah’s House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Campbell.
