“The Blacklist” (8 p.m., NBC): When a frozen corpse is discovered in the woods, the Task Force is drawn into the investigation of an old case that has gained notoriety due to a popular true crime podcast.

“Portals to Hell” (10 p.m., Travel): It’s the premiere of this eight-part paranormal docu-series that examines the locations that are purported to be doorways to the spirit underworld. Jack Osbourne and paranormal researcher and investigator Katrina Weidman join forces to explore this phenomenon. Tonight’s episode looks at the Alaskan Hotel.

Gelbman Trust gives $10K to OWR

YOUNGSTOWN

Opera Western Reserve has received a $10,000 contribution from the Frank and Pearl Gelbman Charitable Trust in support of the upcoming production of “Macbeth.” The grant is the last of the trust’s three-year commitment to OWR.

“Macbeth” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in Stambaugh Auditorium. OWR’s “Murder, Mayhem & Macbeth” fest will feature five separate events beginning in July. For information, call OWR at 330-480-0693.

Parking deck open for Federal Frenzy

YOUNGSTOWN

Those coming downtown Saturday for the Federal Frenzy arts and music festival have the option of parking in Youngstown State University’s Wick Deck on Wick Avenue. The fee is $5 (free for those who have a parking permit), and a free shuttle bus will take people from the deck to downtown and back.

The shuttle will run on a continuous loop between 2 p.m. and the end of the festival. Admission to the festival is free.

Boardman bands in spring concert

The Boardman High School bands spring concert will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. Admission is $3 ($2 for students; free for senior citizens).
