The Boardman High School girls varsity track team finished in first place at Warren G. Harding High School on April 16.
The Boardman Lady Spartan Track and Field team improved their record to 7-0 on the season with a 103-33 victory over the Lady Raiders.
First place finishes on the evening included the 4x800 relay of Hannah Ryan, Shayne Harris, Macy Potts and Sophia McGee in a time of 11:22; Keimanni Boyd in the 100 hurdles 17.5; the 4x200 relay of DreāAna Elliott, Jordan Solmen, Raelyn Cuevas and Tierra Stevenson in 1:59; Alayna Cuevas in the 1600 in 5:42; Denise Scott in the 400 in 75.6; Solmen in the 300 hurdles in 51.3; Raegan Burkey in the 800 in 2:26; Sophia McGee in the 3200 in 13:09; the 4x400 relay of Alayna Cuevas, Bailey Moore, Gina Gabriele and Raegan Burkey; Emily Carnahan in both the shot put and discus in 33-5 and 89-3; Kenzie Widrig in the pole vault with a 7-6 effort and finally Ryleigh Neill in the high jump with a 4-8 effort.
Second place finishes on the evening included Faith Colkitt in the 100 hurdles; Destinee Hayes in the 100; McGee in the 1600; Alayna Cuevas in the 800; Potts in the 3200; Brigita Ositis in both the shot put and discus; Tara Pasvanis in the pole vault and Haley Ho in high jump.
Third place and the final scoring position on the evening included Potts in the 1600; Raelyn Cuevas in the 400; Faith Colkitt in the 300 hurdles; Moore in the 800; Stevenson in the 200; Ryan in the 3200; Boyd in the shot put; Ali Williams in the discus; Gracie Beil in the long jump; Ryleigh Neill in the pole vault and Tara Pasvanis in the high jump.
Leading scorers on the season are Kaylin Burkey with 69, Raegan Burkey with 58.25 and Emily Carnahan with 48.
