NFL Draft: Cardinals select Murray No. 1

The Arizona Cardinals selected Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray with the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Murray won the Heisman Trophy during his only season as the starting quarterback for the Sooners. He amassed 4,361 yards passing with 42 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season.

The pick marks back-to-back seasons in which a former Sooners quarterback was taken first overall.

The Cleveland Browns took Baker Mayfield with the first pick in 2018.
