Award recipients to be honored at banquet

YOUNGSTOWN

The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown has announced the 29 recipients of the 2019 Eagle of the Cross Award. The award is presented to high-school juniors and seniors who model dedication, integrity, values and promise for church and society.

The students will be presented their awards at the 21st Annual Eagle of the Cross Awards Liturgy and Banquet at 6 p.m. April 30 at The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 343 Via Mount Carmel Ave. The banquet is by invitation, but the liturgy is open to the public.

The 15 local recipients, grade, high school and church are:
