The Falcons (11-4) scored four runs in the sixth inning to break open a scoreless game. Devin Higginbotham pitched a complete game for the Falcons, allowing no runs on six hits and striking out seven. Casey Bokesch had two RBIs and Kenny Miskik added two hits and an RBI.

HUBBARD
Andrew Frank’s three hits included a double for the Eagles (7-10). Evan Jarvis’ three hits drove in three runs. Lukas Mosora’s two hits included a double and he scored twice. For the Irish (6-7), Vince Armeni’s two hits included a double. Brent Nelzo also had two hits and Dante Walker doubled.

MARLINGTON
Nick Habeth pitched a complete game and struck out nine for South Range (11-2). Jared Bajerski led the Raiders offense with two hits and three RBIs. Trey Pancake, Ben Rivera, and Josh Stear had two hits and two RBI each. Andrew Pucci and Levi Rogers homered for Marlington (8-3).

GIRARD
Anthony Cortese and Devin Dutton drove in two RBIs each for the Indians. Braydon Freeland, Austin Claussell and Matt Miles also had RBIs. Matt Horvat had an RBI for the Golden Flashes and Andrew Russell had two hits. Abe Bayus took the loss, allowing four runs on four hits and five walks. Bayus struck out seven in 32/3 innings. Miles earned the win in a complete game. Miles allowed two runs on eight hits and a walk, striking out six.

Adam Wibert struck out 14 and walked four in a win for the Mustangs. Trever Strohmeyer struck out five and walked three in the loss. Jackson Iceman and Gabe Canter each had two hits for the Mustangs (11-1). Iceman and Wibert drove in two runs apiece. Wibert and Ethan Hall had doubles. Anthony Patrone had two hits for Liberty (3-9).

Dom Medina drove in five runs on three hits for Mineral Ridge (5-6). Jake Carfalo added three hits for the Rams offense and Jake Teeters drove in three. Frank Prozy had two hits for Jackson-Milton (6-6), including a double.

Tucker Brown drove in all three runs for Waterloo in the fourth inning. For Lowellville (11-4, 5-4 Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference), Micah Mamula-Zarlingo drove in a run and scored a run. Ricky Cutter added two hits.

BERLIN CENTER
Cody Wise got the win for Western Reserve (8-4), striking out eight over five innings while allowing one hit and one run. Caleb Quinn pitched the final two innings and struck out four. Dan Windham led the offense with three hits and three RBIs. Ryan Slaven and Wise each had an RBI. Logan Shields took the loss, allowing six runs — four earned — on nine hits and two walks. Shields struck out six in five innings. Zach Nolf hit a double and Tanner Matig had a single. Nolf had two RBIs for McDonald and Anthony Tamburro had one.

COLUMBIANA
Chase Franken hit his first home run of the year and knocked in six runs, finishing a single shy of the cycle for Columbiana (6-6). Franken hit a three-run home run in the second inning to give the Clippers the lead for good. Wayne Davis had a two-run single in the fifth inning. Michael Ginocchi had a hit and two walks. He scored three runs for the Clippers. Brady Dixon doubled in the first inning. Dixon earned his first win of the year, allowing one hit and striking out three in four inning pitched.

LISBON
Lucas Gulczynski, Nathan Karaffa, Nick Sninchak and AJ Clegg each had four RBIs for the Red Knights. Karaffa and Clegg each hit home runs. Nick Mundy had three RBIs for the Blue Devils while Blake Reynolds and Tyler Toot had two apiece. Caleb Leasure got the win, pitching 32/3 innings of one-hit ball. Josh Entrikin took the loss, allowing 13 runs on 13 hits and two walks. He struck out five in 62/3 innings.

Jack Barnes took the loss in a complete game. Barnes allowed 12 runs on 15 hits and four walks, striking out three. David Cunningham earned the win, allowing four runs on nine hits and a walk. Cunningham struck out five in five innings of work. Cole Bates went 3 for 4 with two doubles and a home run. Bates scored three times and drove in two for the Warriors (10-5).

Matt Stephens had two hits and drove in four runs for the Panthers (10-3, 5-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Gage Elza and Johnny Stephens also had two hits while Nick Church drove in three runs. Mike Wiebe and Johnny Stephens had two RBIs each. The Wildcats are 1-7, 1-4.

Lauren Sienkiewicz drove in two runs with two hits. Camryn Lattanzio drove in three runs with two hits including a double.

Alana Rodriguez had two hits and two RBIs for Campbell. Lara had another homer for Liberty in game two and two RBIs as the Leopards complied 16 hits. Bri Callow struck out 14 without a walk and allowed six hits for McDonald. Lucy Wolford went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs while Callow had one. Elise McMaster had a double for McDonald (8-3, 8-0 MVAC). Layla Woolf struck out five with a walk and allowed eight hits for Western Reserve (5-9, 4-6). Woolf had an RBI single.

Amber Ciplinski hit a double and a single for Waterloo while Laura Hood had three singles. Mackensi Kehrer and Mackenzie Deem added two singles each for the Vikings (10-2, 8-1 MVAC). Maggie Kelly added a double for Lowellville. Waterloo’s Mackensi Kehrer earned the win.

Jordan Anderson allowed 13 hits and two walks, striking out seven for West Branch. East (5-0-1, 3-0 Eastern Conference) clinched a Division II postseason berth with a victory over Northwest. Zion Rushton and Xhariyon Williams scored twice while Jarail Jenkins, Timmy Bowser, Dmarcus Carr, Sammy Cartagena and Vincent Steele scored once. Hunter Mathie made five conversion kicks and Bowser two. Steele and Jenkins led the Golden Bears defense with 13 and 11 tackles, respectively.
