Genealogy program planned at library

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host the genealogy program, “Estate Planning Genealogy Style,” at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The speaker, Marge Greenisen, will provide information about the options to save participants’ work.

The program is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is required and can be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling 330-332-0042.

College Signing Day planned for May 1

YOUNGSTOWN

The TRIO EOC College Signing Day Reception will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday inside of the EGCC student services building, 139 E. Boardman St.

During this reception, students will be recognized for meeting the requirements for high school graduation or obtaining a high school equivalency credential or GED and for making a commitment to attend any college, university, community college, vocational, or training program for fall 2019.

Eligible participants will receive a TRIO EOC Certificate of Achievement and a lapel pin. Reservations are due by today to TRIO EOC Outreach advisor Sparkil Alli at salli@egcc.edu.
