River Rock series will open with Faux Fighters

Staff report

WARREN

It’s not a hometown show by Warren native Dave Grohl, but it might be the next best thing.

The 2019 River Rock at the Amp tribute band concert series will begin May 25 with Faux Fighters, who will perform the music and recreate the live experience of Grohl and the Foo Fighters.

The River Rock summer series will feature 12 concerts at the Warren Community Amphitheatre, 321 Mahoning Ave. NW.

Admission is $8 or $10, with two for $10 tickets Aug. 24 (free for children 12 and under with a paid adult for all shows). Tickets can be purchased in advance at riverrockattheamp.com, at the Sunrise Inn of Warren or at the gate.
