Youth Day in Niles

Niles

Western Reserve Fish & Game Association, 1058 W. 3rd St., will have a Youth Day from 10 a.m. to to 2 p.m. April 25.

The event is free, and lunch will be provided.

Activities will include archery, crossbow and air gun and will be supervised by trained and certified volunteers. All activities will be scheduled on the club’s indoor range. However, if the weather permits, outdoor facilities may be used.

Participants may use their own equipment. The club has high-quality bows, crossbows and air guns in stock. All safety gear will be provided.

Parents, grandparents and adult chaperones are encouraged to participate.

CCW class in Poland

New Middletown Farmers & Sportsman’s Club, 3341 E. Calla Road, will have a CCW class on April 27 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $90 and includes all classroom materials, targets, coffee and muffins in the morning and a light lunch of hot dogs, chips and coffee or water.

A safe, functioning pistol, 50 rounds of ammunition and eye and ear protection are required.

Reservations and a $20 deposit can be made at Blue Line Ltd., 12712 South Ave. #2, North Lima.

Firearms class

Vienna

Fish and Game Club of Vienna, 1508 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, is offering a women’s firearms class, which starts May 14 and runs for eight weeks. Class time is 5:45 to 10 p.m. The class qualifies participants for a concealed-carry permit. Cost is $75.
