BOARDMAN

Marci Devellin became the wife of Daniel Candiotti during a wedding ceremony that took place Sept. 8, 2018, at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. Officiant at the 1:30 p.m. service was the Rev. Brent Whetstone.

The newlyweds received guests at a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

After a honeymoon to London, Paris and Rome, the couple reside in Boardman.

The bride’s parents are Ron and Patty Devellin of Boardman.

The groom is the son of Kathy Testa of Boardman and Frank and Cindy Candiotti of Sharpsville, Pa.

An ivory strapless A-line gown accented with lace and pearl appliques and a beaded satin belt was worn by the bride. Her ensemble was completed with a rhinestone and pearl tiara and shoulder-length veil.

Alyssa Parson was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Maleski, cousin of the bride; Amy Nelson, sister of the groom; and Lisa Andrews-Bornemisza.

Flower girls were Abigail and Paige Songer, the groom’s cousins.

Attendants wore yellow or black dresses.

Michael Candiotti, the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Charles Maleski, cousin of the bride; Don Nelson, the groom’s brother-in-law; Nicholas Merlo, the bride’s cousin; and Jordan Nelson, nephew of the groom.

Zayden Maleski, cousin of the bride; and Cooper Nelson, nephew of the groom, were ring bearers.

Mrs. Candiotti attended Youngstown State University for hospitality management and is a relationship banker for Chemical Bank in Youngstown.

Mr. Candiotti graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with an associate degree in applied science in radiography. He is a radiographic technician at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital and also served in the U.S. Navy.
