Ghosts, psychics, UFOs and Bigfoot to be discussed in Kent

The historic Kent Stage, 175 East Main Street, will be hosting its annual Kent Paranormal Weekend this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Author and resident historian of The Franklin Castle, William G. Krejci, will discuss the Cleveland landmark and its spirited past at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Psychic mediums Laura Lyn and Clara Jo will be presenting the “Third Eye Challenge” Friday.

The “Friday After Hours” event will be a ghost hunt inside The Kent Stage lead by the paranormal investigators. Groups of attendees will visit areas that are believed to be haunted.

The schedule for Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. includes presentations, films, and Q&A sessions on hauntings, UFOs, Bigfoot, psychic vampirism, love beyond the grave and paranormal investigation.

Ray Goosby, a paranormal investigator and co-host of “The Cryptic Paranormal Show” on KRMA Radio, will serve as emcee for Saturday’s events.

He will open the day with his humorous video “Ghostin’ With the Gooz.”

The “Saturday After Hours Searching Earth & Sky” event takes place from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. and will feature Bigfoot tracking, UFO night-sky identification with Thomas Wertman and the history of the Towner’s Woods Hopewell Burial Mound.

This event is planned to occur at Towner’s Woods in Kent. Participation is very limited.

Featured presenters for The Kent Paranormal Weekend include:

Michelle Belanger is the author of more than 30 books, including “Dictionary of Demons” and “The Psychic Codex,” and has been featured on “Paranormal State” on A&E. Belanger will be speaking on psychic vampirism.

Lisa Luna Hart, astrologer, empath and storyteller, will share the history and hauntings of Kent.

Thomas Wertman, director of Mutual UFO Network of Ohio (MUFON), UFO case investigator and podcast host of the UFOOdessey on Odysy1.com will talk about a UFO event in Portage County.

Seth Breedlove, an Ohio filmmaker, will screen 90-minutes of his newly released “On the Trail of Bigfoot” mini-series with a Q&A session following.

Theresa Argie and Cathi Weber are known as “The Haunted Housewives.” Argie is the author of “America’s Most Haunted,” and Weber is the author of “Haunted Willoughby, Ohio.”

The two paranormal investigators have appeared on the television programs “Paranormal State” and “Paranormal Challenge.” Argie and Weber are also frequent guests on “Coast to Coast AM” and “Beyond Reality Radio” and will be presenting on love beyond the grave.

Ohio Metaphysics and Paranormal Research (OMPR), a team that specializes in investigating potential home and business paranormal activity.
