Leshnack’s homer sets Ursuline College record

Former Liberty High School standout Leah Leshnack hit an 0-2 pitch deep over the left-field wall for a grand slam on April 3. The homer was Leshnack’s 10th of her career for the Ursuline College Arrows.

The record home run occurred in Pepper Pike against the visiting Alderson Broaddus University from Philippi, W.Va.

Ursuline swept Alderson Broaddus in a doubleheader 4-1 and 5-2. Leshnack went 5 for 7 on the day with a home run, two doubles, five RBIs and three runs scored.

Leshnack added two more homers in a series against Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, bringing her total to 12.
