Scouts to host Earth Day cleanup

The Whispering Pines District Great Trail Council Boy Scouts of America will take part in its 37th annual Mill Creek MetroParks Earth Day cleanup at 9 a.m. April 27. The cleanup is co-sponsored by the Whispering Pines District BSA and Mill Creek MetroParks. Areas within the clean up will be Mill Creek park, Mill Creek MetroParks regional facilities Yellow Creek Park and the MetroParks Farm.

Coordinators will pick up supplies and meet groups at the various locations and will work until noon. The cleanup will take place rain or shine. The event is in conjunction with the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup. For details visit www.kab.org/our-partners.
