Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society will meet at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church social hall, 1463 Shields Road, Boardman. Phyllis Mihalik, a certified master gardener, will present a program about organic gardening in the area, followed by a question-and-answer period. The society’s plant sale will take place in May. All are welcome to attend.

THURSDAY

Mignonette Garden Club will meet for lunch at noon at the Homestead Kitchen and Cocktails, 163 Town Center Ave., Columbiana. A “Plant and Take” program will follow lunch at the Lutz Greenhouse, 7879 W. Pine Lake Road, Salem. Take your own container (8- or 10-inch) or one can be purchased from Lutz. Valorie Zurawick will be the hostess. Guests are welcome.

Garden Gate Garden Club will meet for the Garden Forum Spring General Meeting and luncheon at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek MetroParks.
