Society to host inclusive celebration

The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley announced that it is working with the Eastwood Mall to bring supportive events to children with special needs. This includes the society’s Special Bunny: An Inclusive Easter celebration. It will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday in the Eastwood Mall Concourse.

Families are strongly encouraged to register at AutismMV.org for this private event. Started seven years ago, this annual event is dedicated to making sure that families with children with special needs have the opportunity to enjoy seasonal traditions like the bunny photo experience. The project has expanded into a celebration with the addition of arts and crafts, train rides, an egg hunt and therapy bunnies from F5RS Bunnies in Baskets program.
