Buchanan wins Memorial tournament

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Bucky Buchanan repeated as champion the 18th Annual Mickey Michalojko Memorial Scratch Bowling Tournament at Colonial Lanes.

Bowlers from four states competed. Buchanan became the first bowler to win the event twice.

Finishing behind Buchanan were; Matt Mowad of Aliquippa, Pa.; Jason Wunderlich, Homestead, Pa.; and Johnathon Kleer of Crescent, Pa.

Proceeds from the event and sponsorship money go to the Mickey Michalojko’s scholarship for junior bowlers. This year, $1,750 was distributed.
