Students participate in district competition

AUSTINTOWN

The Austintown Middle School band director, Jeremy McClaine, recently announced 19 Austintown Middle School band students and one choir student participated in the OMES District V Junior High Solo and Ensemble competition.

The AMS cafetorium will be the site for a Middle School Solo and Ensemble Recital Night that will take place at 7 p.m. April 10 and will feature the students of the AMS bands and choir, AMS Falcon Chorale, a selection of Fitch Band ensembles and performances by the music departments faculty, including Megan Keown, McClaine and Bill Klein.

Admission is free and refreshments will be provided.
