Lascolas celebrate 50th anniversary with luncheon

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Lascola of Boardman celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a luncheon with friends and family. The couple were married Sept. 28, 1968, at St. Stanislaus Church in Youngstown.

The Lascolas are the parents of Matthew (Laura) Lascola of Canton and Annette (Carl) DeSiato of Canfield.

Five grandchldren, Joseph, Carl, Makayla, Alexa and Liam, complete their family.

Mrs. Lascola, the former Alice Okusewsky, worked as a managing cosmotologist for Great Escape Hair Salon before retiring in 2006.

Her husband retired from Ohio Edison as a distribution dispatcher after more than 30 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

The couple are members of St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.
