Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are invited.

Paint and sip planned for Saturday

WARREN

Beautiful Whirl’d, 141A West Market St. Ext., will host a paint and sip party for children age 5 and up at 10 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $20 per child, which includes all supplies and fresh smoothies. Children can choose to paint a dragon or a unicorn. If children have siblings younger than 5 who wish to attend, they are welcome to join.

Garden clubs will host fall luncheon

YOUNGSTOWN

The Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown Area will present its Fall Luncheon Meeting on Oct. 13 at Kravitz’s Garden Cafe at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks. The event will be hosted by Garden Club of Youngstown and Garden Gate Garden Club of Poland.

Registration will take place from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

The morning program will feature Ellen Speicher on Fall Gardening. A lunch will be served, and the afternoon will feature Floral Arranging by Mark Green of Green’s Floral Shop.

Installation service

YOUNGSTOWN

Metro Assembly of God, 2530 South Ave., will host the installation service of the Rev. Cornell Jordan as its new pastor at 6 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. John Wootton, network superintendent of the Ohio Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God, will officiate.

Church to host concert

POLAND

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, will host The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra Stained Glass Concert at 4:30 p.m. Sunday with a reception to follow. The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and conductor Randall Craig Fleischer will present selections from the 2018-19 concert repertoire. The one-hour performance is free and open to the public.
