Farm to host Fall Fest

POLAND

Molnar Farms, 3115 E. Western Reserve Road, will host its fourth annual Fall Fest from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature hand-crafted items from local vendors, including jewelry, natural beauty products, fall decorations with the farm’s mums and festive pumpkins, Pik-a-Pumpkin hayrides, a family-friendly corn maze, life-sized board games with Mahoning Valley Family Center and more. Homemade barbecue from the Springfield Local Fire Department will be offered. Participants may visit the quilt and gift shop in the rustic farm market. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch and the corn maze will continue to be available Saturdays and Sundays through October.

Pizza fundraiser set for Wednesday

harlansburg, pa.

The Corner in Harlansburg, Pa., 3420 Perry Highway, will host a #26 Strong Pizza Special Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. For every pizza ordered that day, $1 will benefit the Hayden Hamilton recovery fund. Hayden was injured during a football game rendering him paralyzed from the neck down.

Nature Shop taking donations

Wild Birds Unlimited Nature Shop, 90 Boardman-Canfield Road, is sponsoring a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Friday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Nonperishable items such as canned fruits, vegetables, tuna and soups, dry pasta, peanut butter, rice, cereals, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap and paper products are suggested. Stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, gravy mix and yams also would be appreciated with the holidays coming.

Training workshop to take place Oct. 16

The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley is partnering with the Columbiana, Trumbull and Mahoning County Mental Health Boards, Potential Development with and the Rich Center for Austism to host an Autism Interaction Training workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at Four Mile Run Christian Church, 701 N. Library is hosting autumn programs

The Bristolville Library, 1855 Greenville Road, will host three fall programs. The first one is for children age 3 to 5 and will be Story Time at 10 a.m. Friday and continuing each Friday.

The second program is for teenagers in grade seven through 12 for Teen Read Week from Oct. 8 through 12.

The third program is Trick or Treat the halls at Bristol High School on Oct. 30. Anyone interested in attending is invited to dress up and trick or treat in a safe environment that is sponsored by BETA, National Honor Society and the student council.
