Janutolos celebrate 65th anniversary

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Ben and Sarah Janutolo of New Middletown celebrated 65 years of marriage recently. The couple were married Aug. 24, 1953, in Bluefield, Va., and moved to the area in 1960.

The Janutolos are the parents of Dan (Connie) Janutolo of New Middletown, Sheila (Charles) Thiry of Leetonia and Devona (Mike) Groneck of Austin, Texas.

Seven grandchldren, three step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren complete their family.

Mrs. Janutolo worked in finance for 37 years and retired in 2012 after 12 years with Mahoning Valley Job and Family Services. She also was treasurer of Freedom Church in New Middletown from where she recently retired after 45 years of service.

Her husband retired in 1998 from Modern Builders Supply. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
