Man entering plea admits taking drugs last night

YOUNGSTOWN — A man entering a guilty plea today in Mahoning County Pleas Court for taking delivery of a large amount of painkillers from India told the judge taking his plea today that he took some of them as recently as last night.

Prosecutors are recommending that Jonathan Gray, 30, be sentenced to nine months in prison for his guilty plea to a third degree felony possession of drugs charge.

When asked when was the last time he drugs, Gray told Judge Lou A. D'Apolito he took some drugs last night before court.

Gray was warned when he comes back for sentencing he will be drug tested and if he tests positive for anything his plea deal is off.
