SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 East, Youngstown, will meet for an executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave. The general meeting will take place at noon, and July, August and September birthdays will be celebrated. Members are asked to take school supplies. Guests and new members are welcome at meetings and bus trips. Annual membership dues of $7 will be collected. There will be a 50-50 raffle. There also will be a trip to Cleveland on Oct. 14 at a cost of $115 which includes transportation, entertainment and brunch. Brunch will take place at 11 a.m. and will visit the Karamu Theater at 3 p.m. First payment of $65 is due Sept. 19 and the final payment of $55 is due Oct. 5. Seats are available. Canfield AARP 3104 will sponsor a bus trip Oct. 10 to Mesopotamia to visit the End of the Commons General Store, Middlefield cheese stop, a family-style lunch at Mary Yoders and Sunrise Market in Burton. Dollar Bank Retirees will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Selah Restaurant, 130 S. Bridge St., Struthers. All former employees are invited to attend whether or not they have retired. For information, contact Sandy Ross at 330-506-1290.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Lunch will be served at noon followed by Bingo and card games.
