Katie Leigh Farrow and Joseph Anthony DePalma were united in marriage July 13 at St. Patrick Church during a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. John Trimbur. A reception followed that evening at the Fellows Riverside Gardens.

The bride’s parents are Robert and Gloria Farrow of Poland. Jeffrey and Mary Jo DePalma of Jeannette, Pa., are the parents of the groom.

The bride wore was a strapless, ivory mikado sheath gown with a ruched bodice and slit skirt. A crystal brooch at the hip accented the gown.

Dr. Jenni E. Farrow, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore an eggplant-colored dress.

The flower girls were Lucia Anne DePalma and Alexis Loughner, daughters of the bride and groom; Hailey E. Weber, the bride’s niece; and Katherine R. Leonard, cousin of the bride. They wore pastel pink dresses.

The responsibilities of best man were entrusted to Michael J. DePalma, brother of the groom.

Benjamin R. Diehl, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Mrs. DePalma graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science; an associate’s degree in veterinarian technician from The Vet Tech Institute; and graduated with a degree from the Phlebotomy Training Institute in Pittsburgh. She is a biometric health screener and plebotomist for Quest Diagnostics and travels Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Mr. DePalma is attending Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., and is pursuing a degree in program management. He is employed as a mechanic with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served in the U.S. Navy as a gunners mate for four years aboard the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3).

The couple will honeymoon at a later date. They reside in Poland.
