Davidsons mark 50th jubilee at family dinner

AUSTINTOWN

The Village Pump in Canfield was the setting for a family dinner July 13 in honor of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Duke Davidson of Austintown.

The dinner was preceded by a surprise renewal of vows at Ridge Ranch Campground in Warren.

The couple has four children, Jerry (Kelly) Davidson of North Port, Fla.; Rebecca (Steve) Denney of Canfield; Danny R. Davidson of Austintown; and Fred A. Davidson, also of Austintown. Seven grandchildren complete their family.

Mr. Davidson and the former Nancy K. Wright were married July 13, 1968, at Sparta United Methodist Church in Sparta, N.C.

Mrs. Davidson retired in 1995 from her work as a medical assistant with Dr. Badjatia in Boardman.

Mr. Davidson was employed for 36 years as a senior manufacturing engineer at General Motors Fabrication in Lordstown. He also is a 32nd degree Mason and a member of West Austintown United Methodist Church.
