Governor’s office to host roundtable

The Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will host a faith and community opiate roundtable from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 19 at Grace Evangelistic Temple, 2214 Mahoning Ave. The purpose of this roundtable is to bring faith and community-based nonprofits and churches together to learn how to work better together in the fight against addiction. Support group will begin Thursday

Funds being raised for new trolley

MacMillan Office Supply, 553 E. State St., will donate 10 percent of the sale price for each chair purchased from those in stock to the Salem Historical Society Trolley Replacement Fund from now through Sept. 28.
