SHAKER HEIGHTS
The Falcons got on the board when Bobby Cavalier found Anthony Caulton for a 74-yard touchdown in the first quarter. After a safety in the second, Noah James scored on an 8-yard run for the Falcons (3-0) to take a 16-0 lead in the third. James ran for 123 yards on 15 carries while Cavalier threw for 75 yards and a touchdown.

MENTOR
Matt Slowey passed for 224 yards and two TDs for the Cougars. The scoring tosses were to Andrew Bortz (24 yards) and Christian DeMitro (49). Slowey also scored on an 8-yard run. For the Irish (0-3), James Phillips and Davion Jones scored on runs covering 13 and 18 yards. Ursuline was limited to 58 yards on the ground and 79 through the air.

J.J. Walsh scored two receiving touchdowns (55 and 60 yards) and one rushing (seven) for the Mustangs (1-2). Ryan Myers ran for two scores while Bryan Prentice and Philip Dinges ran for one apiece. Gabe Canter completed five of nine passes for 130 yards. One scoring toss was to Austin Westbay. Defensively, John Smith and Xander Gedeon each recovered a fumble and Westbay had an interception.
