Anne Marie Cadle of Austintown and Kiriakos Jacob Kakavros of Cortland were united in marriage July 14 during a ceremony officiated by Monsignor Peter Polando at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. A reception took place at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.

The bride is the daughter of Lynette Cadle of Austintown and the late Richard Cadle.

Denise Stark and Cary Kakavros, both of Howland, are the parents of the groom.

Justin Grogan-Myers was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Kolasky; Samantha Malmfeldt; Danielle Marsco; Ashley Belliveau; Gayl Kakavros, sister-in-law of the groom; and Christine Steinhaus, cousin of the bride.

The bride wore a beaded gown designed with a dropped waist.

The attendants wore emerald-colored dresses.

Terry Kakavros, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man.

Brian Webber, Eric Curry, Jimmy Williams and Nik Suri, were groomsmen.

The flower girl was Jillian Schaffner.

Jake Schaffner and the groom’s cousin, Mikey Como, were ring bearers.

Ushers were Scott Como and Gabe Stark, cousins of the groom,

Mrs. Kakavros graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Youngstown State University with a master’s degree in school counseling. She is a school counselor at Ursuline High School.

Mr. Kakavros is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in educational administration. He is a job trainer at Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Warren.

The newlyweds honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. They reside in Cortland.
