Dinner marks Krepses’ 70th anniversary
BOARDMAN
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kreps of Boardman were honored July 14 at a dinner party on the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary.
The event took place at the home of the couple’s son, Ken (Kim) Kreps in Boardman and also was hosted by their other children and their spouses, Ted and Marie Kreps of New Springfield, Holly and Dwight Wilson of Atlanta and Marcia and John Botch of Boardman.
Ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Kreps and the former Berry Porter were married July 16, 1948, at Trinity Methodist Church in Youngstown.
She was a homemaker and also assisted with her husband’s businesses as a bookkeeper and retired in 1991.
Mr. Kreps was the owner of Frank Kreps Plastering and Kreps Drywall. He also was one of the original owners of the Holiday Bowl. He also retired in 1991.
Mr. and Mrs. Kreps attend Greenford Christian Church and belong to Salem Hills Golf Club. They are also avid bridge players.
