Neil Berg’s 50 Years of Rock and Roll will return to Packard Music Hall for a 7 p.m. performance on Wednesday.
The live music and dance show pays tribute to rock music, from its origins in 1932, through its glory years, and ending in 1981 with Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Berg, who plays piano, shares the stories behind the people and songs as the new wave of pop music swept the nation.
The show includes a cast of five singers and a band and includes dozens of hits by iconic stars, ranging from Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Elvis Presley, to Bob Dylan, The Who and Aretha Franklin.
Tickets are $40 at the Packard box office, 1093 Mahoning Ave. NW; call 330-841-2931 for reservations.
The show is part of the Warren Civic Music Association’s annual series. Season tickets are still available for $102. Go to warrencivicmusic.com for information.
