Liberty beat Champion for its first win in nearly a decade. The program had been dropped and was re-started this season. Olivia Benson scored three goals for the Leopards (1-0-1) wile Brianna Sierra and Trinity Howard scored one goal each. Emily Benson made 16 saves for Liberty. No Champion stats were reported.

Madison Luckett scored four goals for Champion. Ariana Peyton, Abby White and Carli Swipas also scored for the Golden Flashes. Sophia D’Urso and Mallory Jessep each finished with three assists. Emma Gumont had four saves for Champion while Dru Gerace had 25 saves for Brookfield.

BELOIT

Gillian Koneval scored four goals for West Branch. Lexi Biery, Jillian Pidgeon, Olivia McLean and Abie Davis each scored for the Warriors. Elizabeth Ostadali had two assists. Bri Blevins, Davis, Koneval, McLean and Biery also had assists. No Minerva stats were reported. JV: West Branch 0, Salem 0.

Springfield 17, Waterloo 1

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Springfield set a school-record for goals in a game. Gianna Latronica and Kylee Kosek each scored four goals, Macy Centofanti had a hat trick and Abigail Catlos scored twice. Ava DiMaiolo, Madison West, Mya Dusky, and Kaila LaMorticella each had one goal. Laura Hood scored for Waterloo.

POLAND

Molly Malmer’s brace lead Poland and Carolyn Boccieri, Syda Masucci and Kat Partika each added a goal. Nina Centofanit had three assists. Kailyn Brown and Gabby Romano split time in goal for the clean sheet with nine saves total.

WELLSVILLE

Matthew DeNiro had a pair of goals with assists from Micah Direnzo and Sebastian Sharo for Heartland Christian. Hayden Stewart scored the final goal for the Lions, assisted by Matthew DeNiro. Theo Pethtel had six saves for the Lions. The Tigers goals were from Casey LeMaster and Micthell McIntosh.

Taylor Shaner had 12 points, 12 digs, nine kills and four blocks and Keara Taylor Hall had 12 kills and 14 digs for the Red Dragons. Kane Parry had 22 assists and two aces. Morgan Tenney lead Champion with 13 kills, 24 digs and two aces. Savannah Dodrill finished with five kills and 18 assists. Hailey Holland had nine assists and Maggie Dunlap recorded 16 digs. Kendyl Switzer had 12 kills and nine blocks to lead Bristol (2-4, 2-3). Kayla Switzer had 14 digs, Alayna Sines had 17 assists and Lindsay Miller recorded eight points. No St. John stats were provided.
