City of You fest this weekend

The inaugural City of You Festival will take place Friday and Saturday on Central Square, downtown.

Admission will be $5 at the gate for the nonalcohol event, which will include music and food vendors. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. both nights.

On Friday, DJ EV will perform starting at 7 p.m. On Saturday, it will be Grammy-winning gospel singer Karen Clark-Sheard, who will also take the stage at 7 p.m.
