Area under flash flood warning

CLEVELAND

The National Weather Service Cleveland office warns of potential flash flooding across the northern portion of Youngstown.

The flash flood warning, in effect until 9:45 p.m. Monday, includes Youngstown, Girard and Hubbard, reaching as far as the McKinley Heights and Masury communities.

Residents are urged to avoid walking or driving through flood waters and move to higher ground.
