‘Miracle Makers’ change bandits needed

BOARDMAN

Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley is seeking “Miracle Maker” change bandits to assist with pre-event fundraising activities for the 10th annual Miracles & Promises Radiothon to benefit the hospital. The Radiothon will take place Sept. 27 and 28 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, and will be broadcast live on Mix 98.9 and 570 WKBN from the hospital’s Beeghly campus on Market Street.

Individuals, families, businesses, schools and civic and community organizations may participate in this program and help raise funds for kids at Akron Children’s. Change bandits can create their own fundraising activities in addition to spare change from co-workers, friends and family. A kit containing a fundraising guide and materials necessary to conduct a change bandit campaign is delivered to all participants. All donations and change bandits will be recognized during the Radiothon.
