THURSDAY
Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 10 a.m. to noon Thursdayand from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for fresh potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. or until sold out Thursday and at 10:30 a.m. Friday, if available, by calling 330-746-9528. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Lunches also will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell pirogi. Call in orders to 330-755-1316 from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and beginning at 8 a.m. Friday. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen. Pickup will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, is selling potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-in orders are welcome.
Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will host a turkey dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. Menu includes turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls and homemade pumpkin pie. Cost is $10, and dinner is dine-in or drive-through.
FRIDAY
Bloomfield High School, 2077 Park Road West, will host a fish and shrimp dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the cafeteria. The event is sponsored by the junior class. Canfield Lions will host a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish, french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. Cost is $12 and will be takeout or dine-in.

St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will host a dinner at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10. Reservations are due by 5:30 p.m. Cost is $20, which includes chicken soup, stuffed cabbage, rolled pork, rice, salad, dessert and coffee. Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., Kinsman will host its bazaar. Alchemy Acres Animal Sanctuary will host a spaghetti dinner at the Salem Eagles Club, 1884 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at 330-332-4897. Cost is $8 per ticket and children under 5 eat for free. Menu includes spaghetti with meatballs, salad or applesauce, fresh Italian bread, coffee, tea or lemonade and a dessert. The event will feature a basket auction with a selection of baskets and gift certificates. The auction also includes a Cub Cadet mower/mulcher, a Toro 18-inch electric-start snow blower and a 10-foot kayak. A 50-50 raffle also will take place. There will be a bake sale with gourmet items. Immaculate Heart of Mary Knights of Columbus 3930 will sponsor a sausage and pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parish center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown.
