Today — Monster Dash 5K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run at Shepherd of the Valley Howland, 4100 North River Road, Howland. Registration at 10:30 a.m. and race at noon. Fee is $20.

NOVEMBER

4 — Holy Family K of C Race for Grace, Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Rd., Poland. A 5K run and two-mile walk are scheduled. Fee is $20 in advance and $25 on race day. Register online at www.secondsoleohio.com. Call George Wainio at 330-757-2258 for more information.

11 — Inaugural Ravenna Arsenal Veterans Day Half Marathon/5K. Race begins and ends at Windam High School, adjacent to the Ravenna Arsenal. Race at 9 a.m. Fee for the half marathon is $50. 22 — Warren Kiwanis Turkey Trot at Kent State-Trumbull, 4314 Mahoning Ave., N.W., Champion. A 1K fun run begins at 8:30 a.m. A two-mile run/walk for Alzheimer’s begins at 9 a.m. and the five-mile race begins at 10 a.m. Fee is $20 for each race in advance or $25 on race day.
