CANFIELD

Alyson Kieffer of Rensselaer, Ind., and Eric Bunnell of Boardman, were united in marriage July 14 during a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Carolyn Griffeth at Western Reserve Village Church in Canfield. A reception took place that evening at Avion on the Water Banquet Center in Canfield.

The bride’s parents are David and JoEllen Kieffer of Boardman.

The groom is a son of Stephen and Kathleen Bunnell of Conneaut.

The bride wore an ivory and nude-colored fit-and-flare gown with a V-neck. It was accented with appliqued Venise lace over ivory tulle.

Kassie Gustafson served as maid of honor. Bridemaids were the bride’s cousins, Erin Hagerty, Brittany Donoghue and Ashley Kieffer, and the groom’s goddaughter, Addison Kennedy. Anna Hagerty, a cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The attendants wore Tiffany blue in a variety of styles.

Jeremy and Andrew Bunnell, brothers of the groom, shared the duties of best man. Andrew Kieffer, brother of the bride; Robert Cox; James Kennedy; and Jarrod Dalton were the groomsmen. Ring bearers were Daniel and Aiden Hagerty, cousins of the bride.

Special readings were given by the bride’s cousin, Marra Cercone, and the groom’s uncle, Doug Bunnell.

Mrs. Bunnell graduated from Westminster College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary- and special-education. She also received a master’s degree in elementary reading and literacy from Marygrove College. She is a special-education teacher for Rensselaer Central School Corp.

Mr. Bunnell graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing. He earned a master’s degree in liberal studies from North Central College and is an assistant baseball coach at YSU.

The couple are planning a winter honeymoon to Florida.
