Pistons 110, Cavaliers 103

DETROIT

Andre Drummond had 26 points and 22 rebounds, and the Detroit Pistons remained unbeaten with a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Pistons are 4-0 for the first time since the 2008-09 season. Cleveland, which was without injured star Kevin Love, fell to 0-5 for the first time since 2003-04, when LeBron James was a rookie. Blake Griffin scored 26 points in his first game since a 50-point night against Philadelphia on Tuesday. Reggie Jackson added 16 points for the Pistons. Kyle Korver led Cleveland with 21 points. The Pistons scored the first six points of the game before the Cavaliers scored the next 11. Detroit went on a 12-0 run late in the second quarter and led 58-50 at halftime. Drummond — who was ejected in the win over the 76ers — had 20 points and 20 rebounds through three quarters against Cleveland. The Pistons were up 12 heading into the fourth. The Cavaliers cut the margin to six with 49 seconds left in the fourth when Korver made a 3-pointer while being fouled for a four-point play. Detroit was able to close the game out after that.

Trail Blazers 128, Magic 114

ORLANDO, FLA.

Damian Lillard scored 34 of his 41 points in the second half, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Orlando Magic. CJ McCollum had 22 for the Trail Blazers and Jusuf Nurkic added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic led Orlando with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Terrence Ross had 21 points off the bench and Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier had 17 apiece. Lillard and McCollum re-entered the game with 7:54 left after Orlando cut a 13-point deficit to just 102-99 on Gordon’s second 3-pointer of the quarter. The guards combined to score 22 of Portland’s final 26 points to seal the win.

Celtics 101, Thunder 95

OKLAHOMA CITY

Jayson Tatum scored 24 points, and the Boston Celtics rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to beat the winless Oklahoma City Thunder. Marcus Morris added 21 points, Al Horford scored 19 and Kyrie Irving had 15 for the Celtics. Paul George scored 22 points for Oklahoma City, but shot just 7 of 22. Russell Westbrook had 13 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists, but he shot 5 for 20. The Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers are the only winless teams in the league. Morris hit a 3-pointer with 27 seconds left to give the Celtics a 98-95 lead, and they held on.
