Duquesne 27, St. Francis (Pa.) 20

A.J. Hines had 256 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns and Duquesne scored two fourth-quarter scores to overtake St. Francis (Pa.). Hines rushed up the middle, spun around a defender then went outside for a 37-yard touchdown and the game’s final score with 6:52 to go. His run came after Daniel Parr threw 18 yards to Nehari Crawford in the left corner of the end zone to tie the game at 20-all on the first play of the fourth quarter. Hines finished with 165 yards rushing on 28 carries. He also had a career-high 91 yards receiving on three catches. Parr threw for 183 yards and two scores and an interception for the Dukes (5-3, 2-1). Bear Fenimore threw for 205 yards with two touchdowns, both to Cyrus Holder, who had 113 yards receiving on seven catches for the Red Flash (2-5, 0-2).
Robert Morris 49, Central State 45
MOON TOWNSHIP, PA.
Jimmy Walker threw for 162 yards and four touchdowns and Robert Morris beat Division II Central State (Ohio). Freshman Alijah Jackson rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown and Terence Stephens added 135 yards and a score for Robert Morris (2-5). They’re the first RMU rushing duo since 1997 to reach the century mark in the same game. Freshman George Martin threw for 88 yards and a score for RMU, and Matthew Gonzalez caught five passes for 83 yards and three scores. Gonzalez pushed his touchdown total to 10, tying a single-season record by Tyjaun Massey. Trent Mays was 22-of-40 passing for 364 yards and three touchdowns for Central State. Kevin Greenhow caught 11 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns. Terraris Saffold rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
Wooster 28, Hiram 21
WOOSTER
Jacob Lewis caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Mateo Renteria and Christian Santos returned an interception 37 yards to clinch Wooster’s third win in their last four games. Renteria completed 23 of 39 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 72 yards on 17 carries and a score. Lewis caught nine passes for 161 yards and Antonio Bailey ran the ball 10 times for 56 yards for the Fighting Scots (4-3, 3-3 North Coast Athletic Conferece). Chaney graduate Mark Herron recorded a career-high 13 tackles and a pass breakup. Randy Tucker completed 26 of 42 attempts for 265 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Terriers (2-5, 1-5 NCAC).
Denison 27, Ohio Wesleyan 10
GRANVILLE
Alex Minton ran for 226 yards on 32 carries for Denison (5-2, 5-1 North Coast Athletic Conference). Big Red quarterback Canaan Gebele completed 11 of 24 passes for 111 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He also ran for a 2-yard touchdown to put Denison up 7-0 in the first quarter. Jesse Beachy carried the ball four times for 18 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown for Ohio Wesleyan (2-5, 2-4 NCAC). Jax Harville threw for 208 yards on 18 of 45 passing, but also threw three interceptions.
John Carroll 27, Marietta 24
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS
Trailing 24-14 at the start of the fourth quarter, John Carroll scored 13 points in a three-minute span to extend its winning streak to four. Devin Limerick scored on a 13-yard run with 8:35 left in the fourth and a 9-yard run to put the Blue Steaks ahead with 5:21 remaining. Limerick finished with 37 yards on six carries. Michael Canganelli led the Blue Streaks (6-1, 5-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) with 165 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. John Carroll quarterback Anthony Moeglin completed 12 of 25 passes for 240 yards and an interception. Tanner Clark ran for 142 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries for Marietta (6-1, 5-1 OAC).
Westminster 27, Washington & Jefferson 20
NEW WILMINGTON, PA.
Westmintser won its second straight game, knocking off unbeaten Washington & Jefferson. Keano Grice ran for a 3-yard touchdown to put the Titans (5-3, 5-2) put 27-20 with just under 11 minutes to play. Grice ran for 49 yards on 12 carries. The Titans entered with a 3-36 all-time record against the Presidents (7-1, 6-1 Presidents’ Athletic Conference). Brookfield graduate Augustus Necastro completed 11 of 18 passes for 112 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Titans (5-3, 5-2 PAC). Tyler Greene ran for 85 yards on 19 carries. Jacob Adams completed 20 of 33 passes for 106 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for the Presidents.
